A: Yes! If you are not satisfied with your star package, you may return it within 7 days of receipt of your order for a full refund, less shipping and handling. Yourstar.com will accept exchanges for defective products up to 30 days after receipt of your order. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, call our customer service department to be issued a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. This number must be included in the package when you send it back. When we receive your package you will be refunded your purchase price, less shipping and handling. Please note, we cannot issue a refund if a product is sent back without an RMA number.

Q: How can I print out a gift certificate for a star package that will not arrive in time for my event?

A: 1) Click Login on the footer (the very lower-right of the page).
2) Enter your email address and password and login. If you have forgotten your password click on the Forgot Password? link and a new password will be emailed to you immediately.
3) Click on the Preview link for the star that you would like to preview. You may view and print out gift certificates for all stars that you have purchased.

A: Universal Star Council's products are intended for the sole purpose as a unique "novelty" gift one can share with their friends and family. Only the International Astronomical Union has the authority to assign names to stars, but they only recognize stars by assigning them numbers. Various numbering conventions are in use, so the same star can have a different scientific reference number in the Smithsonian catalog, the Messier catalog, or the Hubble Telescope Guide Star Catalog. Universal Star Council internally recognizes and acknowledges the names it assigns to stars in the Universal Star Council Archives and will never name a star more than once. Universal Star Council also acknowledges the fact there may be people who do not officially recognize the names they assign to the stars (Professional astronomers will always prefer to use a star's IAU number vs. "Mom's Star"). We have no control over any other entity operating a similar service or the business of any scientific, governmental or other body.

A: Universal Star Council donates a portion of all sales to various children's charities.

A: Most orders are processed within 1-2 business days of receipt. From that point, you can expect to receive your order within 5-7 days if it is shipped USPS and 3-5 if it is shipped UPS. A: Please contact our customer service department for a reprint. We will be happy to update your record and print a new certificate for you. Reissued certificates can be sent via USPS for $5 or UPS 2-Day at a cost of $15.

A: YourStar.com now offers beautiful Star Wish cards that you can include with your star package for a small fee. These full-color, glossy, double-sided, heavy stock wish cards feature a pleasing image and poetry on the front and history about the occasion on the back side (i.e. how Father's Day came about).

A: For Mom & Me Stars, Dad & Me Stars, and Couple Stars, the second star is the closest available star to the first star, so that the stars will appear very close to each other in sky. The certificate in each package records their close position, and it provides a permanent record that each star will be "forever remembered" with the other star. We will also maintain the record of this link between those stars in our secure, vaulted facility.

Additionally, you will receive two separate star packages, each with everything that is normally included in that package. The order page details exactly what is included in each package.
